You’re so beautiful…

“I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” -Psalm 139: 14

For this week, the way that you can change the world is to make someone else (and yourself) feel good about themselves through the strategies presented through Operation Beautiful. Basically, you leave post-it notes in public places (especially bathroom mirrors, but you can put them anywhere) that say that someone is beautiful, loved, amazing, or something like that. So many people feel down on themselves because of appearances or other superficial qualities, and this is a great way to raise someone’s self-esteem, or simply make their day. The great thing about this way to change the world is that people may pay it forward. So, go for it!

This week, I want to leave a post it note that is inspired by a sermon I heard at church that says:

“You are a God-designed, purpose-intended, significant, lavishly loved, prince/ princess, and son/ daughter of the King of the universe!”

What will your note say?

  2. I am paying it forward by sharing encouraging notes on my blog, and pray that it will have a domino effect and spread encouragement and love all over the world. I quoted what you wrote about the post its and shared your link. Thank you for posting this first – imagine all the smiles we can create by a few words! ;D

  3. This is a great idea. Sometimes the simplest of things can leave the biggest impacts! Not sure what I will write on my note yet, but there will definitely be sticky notes on some mirrors in my town tomorrow 😉
