This is a great reminder from Made in a Free World that our purchases matter. As you finish Christmas shopping, be sure to buy gifts (especially chocolate, coffee, jewelry, and electronics) that are ethically produced. Slavery does exists. However, if we place enough pressure on businesses by showing them with our money that we want our products to be fairly produced, we can seriously help to curb the problem.
